Tomorrows Stars Foundation’s Growth Through New Partnerships

This summer, the Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation expanded its network of community partners, working alongside organizations across Las Vegas to create new opportunities for young people. New and growing relationships with New York Life, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the City of Las Vegas, Arthrex, Goode Surgical, Gas Station Studios, Codee Locs, the Blueprint Project, and others brought together resources, expertise, volunteers, and experiences for students throughout the community.

Those partnerships came to life through a wide range of summer programming. New York Life employees volunteered alongside Tomorrow’s Stars throughout the summer and supported a youth basketball camp hosted in partnership with the Blueprint Project. Arthrex and Goode Surgical helped make the Clinical Access Program possible, giving high school students hands-on exposure to medicine and sports healthcare before continuing their experience, students toured UMC Hospital, and attended the Sports Medicine Series during NBA Summer League. Through partnerships with the City of Las Vegas, Gas Station Studios, and Codee Locs, students explored media and technology by producing their own NBA Summer League commercial and designing video games, with both projects ultimately showcased at the NBA Summer League.

The Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation created a bridge into the NBA Summer League for career exploration through Kids in Suits, in conjunction with New York Life, where elementary school students had the opportunity to meet professionals working throughout the event, ask them directly about their jobs, and earn “money” ultimately being guided on how to save, invest, or spend. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital also joined Tomorrow’s Stars as an important partner in supporting the foundation’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for under-resourced youth in Las Vegas.

Together, these relationships demonstrate how Tomorrow’s Stars Foundation approaches partnership: bringing organizations, professionals, and resources together to create experiences young people may not otherwise have access to. Following one of its most active summers yet, the foundation is continuing to grow that network and build year-round opportunities for young people throughout Las Vegas.
