HallPass Media Featured in Forbes’ Look at Jalen Brunson’s Winning Playbook
HallPass Media was recently featured in Forbes’ look at how Jalen Brunson brings his winning mindset from the court to the community through the Second Round Foundation.
At the center of the story is the partnership between HallPass Media, Jalen Brunson, Sandra Brunson, and the Second Round Foundation — a relationship built on shared values, trust, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
HallPass Media President Albert Hall, the 2026 recipient of the Magic Is in the Work Award, spoke with Forbes about why the partnership with the Brunson family was such a natural fit:
“We don’t do things with everyone. So when it was Jalen Brunson, we knew that the type of people that the Brunson family are and the type of person both on and off the court, Jalen was…they wanted to do it the right way.”
That shared approach has helped the Second Round Foundation’s annual Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner Reception grow significantly over the past four years. In 2026, the tournament reached maximum capacity at 288 golfers, while the Dinner Reception welcomed 845 guests across 70 tables at Westchester Country Club.
For Albert, the growth comes down to the people behind the event and the culture they have built together.
“The way this event has grown in 4 years…it’s because we have an amazing team and everybody, just like Jalen, knows that the magic’s in the work.”
That philosophy — built around integrity, honesty, collaboration, and joy — is at the heart of how HallPass approaches every partnership and every event.
As the Second Round Foundation continues to grow its impact in the community, HallPass Media is proud to be part of the team helping bring that vision to life.
