Pop-A-Palooza Brings Pop-A-Shot’s Biggest Tournament Yet to Las Vegas

Pop-A-Shot took over Las Vegas during NBA Summer League and HallPass seized the opportunity to once again collaborate through fan engagement, marketing efforts, and the production of a livestream on ESPN+.

After returning to NBA Summer League for a second year, Pop-A-Shot expanded its presence in 2026 with Pop-A-Palooza, its biggest tournament yet. The event brought 64 competitors together at KAOS inside the Palms for one night of competition, entertainment, and $11,000 in prize money…it was anything but a typical tournament.  The field featured some of Pop-A-Shot’s most loyal players, with competitors traveling to Las Vegas from across the country to take their shot at the big prize. Others were already in town for NBA Summer League and earned their place through the Pop-A-Shot Summer League qualifying competition, where the highest scorers on the concourse secured invitations to Pop-A-Palooza.

The result was a packed night at KAOS with fans surrounding the court, cheering on competitors, and even creating custom signs for their favorite players.  The folks who run Pop A Shot had a vision, and the fans did not let them down!   64 Players. $11,000. One Night and an experience like no other.

The competition was fierce, with Murph taking home the $5,000 first-place prize, followed by Isham with $3,000 and Scott Setzke with $2,000. Josh Caputo also walked away with a $500 prize, while an additional $500 prizes were awarded to random participants.  HallPass Media lent a hand in bringing the experience to life, with the team producing the full live ESPN stream for the event and pushing the Pop A Shot content to NBA fans in attendance at Summer League.  NBA Summer League’s own Bojo took the microphone as MC, keeping the crowd engaged and the energy high throughout the night as competitors battled through the tournament.

For Pop-A-Shot, Pop-A-Palooza was the culmination of a national competition that brought players together from cities across the country. For HallPass Media, it was an opportunity to assist a partner and turn a beloved arcade game into a full-scale live entertainment experience, all taking place at the PALMS on Yaamava Court.

From the Summer League concourse to the stage at KAOS, Pop-A-Shot gave fans a chance to compete, connect, and become part of the action.  HallPass helped curate an unreal experience with a similar authenticity of Summer League and Pop-A-Shot is proving that the game is about much more than getting a high score.  It’s about the people who keep coming back to play and the moments they create when they do, and hey why not do it around a signature event with the backdrop of Las Vegas.
