As the agency of record, HallPass Media has been tasked with launching the Friends of Nigerian Basketball website, partnership development, social media management and developing the brand’s identity.
“This partnership marks a major step in helping develop a support system and expanding the digital presence for the Nigerian Men’s National Basketball team as they begin their journey to the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. We are looking forward to the evolution and growth of this foundation and what opportunities lie ahead,” said Albert Hall, President and Founder of HallPass Media.
Led by Golden State Warriors Assistant Coach Mike Brown, the Nigerian Men’s National Basketball team is the only African team representing the continent of Africa at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo.
“We couldn’t possibly think of a better partner to help us tell our story than HallPass Media. HallPass has a tremendous track record of success in the basketball space and we are ecstatic to have them on board. Our plan is to mobilize cultural influencers in music, film, art, sport and more from all over the African continent to lend their voice in support of the program, and I have no doubt that the team at HallPass will help us accomplish just that and more,” said Mike Brown.
Friends of Nigerian Basketball boasts an all-star lineup of celebrity ambassadors, including UFC Champion Kamaru Usman, two-time NBA Champion Hakeem Olajuwon, Miami Dolphins Defensive End Emmanuel Ogbah, ESPN personality Ros Gold-Onwude and more.
