On the third and final game of the 2011 Elite Baseball Series hosted by UCI at Cicerone Field, the Blue team finally defeated the Black team after a hard fought series. Although the teams only played for 7 innings, it was still an impressive bout as their offensive and defensive skills were showcased nonetheless. There was no shortage of runs scored as the Blue team beat the Black team 11-4.

Three players especially stood out amongst the rest, for their offensive achievements. The Blue team’s players of the game were Aaron Barnett of Capo Valley HS, Brent Lawson of Corona Del Mar HS andBrad Anderson of Esparanza HS. Barnett went 3 for 4 on the day with a double, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Lawson went 2 for 3 with a lead off HR, single, 2 RBI and a run scored. Anderson also went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI and a run scored.
