CELEBRITY SNEAKER DESIGNER MAJORWAVEZ HOSTS CUSTOM SNEAKER LAB AT NBA2K23 SUMMER LEAGUE

Sneakers and basketball go together like peanut butter & jelly.

This year, celebrity custom sneaker designer Majorwavez hosted the first ever Custom Sneaker Lab on site at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas during the basketball festival of the summer, the NBA2K23 Summer League.

As part of a new focus to bring more lifestyle, artistic and cultural activations to the concourse of Summer League, Majorwavez and his team helped bring to life the dream of every sneaker head, by teaching them how to customize the designs of their favorite shoes.

Fans also had the unique opportunity to drop off their shoes before their game of choice and swing back around after the game to find their new favorite pair of kicks customized to the exact specifications of their choosing.

For those in attendance that didn’t have a pair of shoes on-hand (or on-foot) that they were looking to get customized, Majorwavez had white Nike Air Force 1’s on-hand at the Sneaker Lab available for purchase.

One celebrity interaction of note was the custom shoes that Majorwavez designed & manufactured for Canadian recording artist, Roy Woods, a singer, rapper, song writer signed to Drake’s OVO record label.

After the shoes were ready, Majorwavez hand-delivered the brand new custom kicks to Roy Woods just before his Las Vegas show later that night where he proudly rocked his Summer League x Majorwavez Lab official Nike Air Force 1’s on stage during his performance.

Majorwavez and his team were even kind enough to gift HallPass Media it’s very own custom pair of Summer League inspired shoes. Certainly a great way to kick off a great working relationship.
