For this weeks feature we'd like to highlight Vegas Summer League alumni Lauren Niemeira on her rising success. Lauren was a VSL intern in 2012 and 2013, and worked with the game operations crew. Now, Lauren is training with the NBA Referee Development Program with the goal of one day officiating in the NBA. Lauren even found herself back at this year's NBA Summer League, but instead of wearing her staff uniform she was sporting her black and white referee uniform on the court. Summer League Jr. NBA Ball Boys and Team Assistants Work Preseason Game in Las Vegas

Summer League Jr. NBA was well represented at the Laker game last night in Las Vegas, Nevada. We want to thank NBA Summer League and Los Angeles Lakers Assistant Equipment Manager Mike Zwick for giving this opportunity to our Summer League Jr. NBA staff. Zwick made it possible for our Ball Crew and Team Assistants to work last nights preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. This was an incredible opportunity for our staff to gain valuable experience.

Summer League Jr. NBA 2018 Fall League is in Full Swing

The Summer League Jr. NBA’s 2018 Fall League is under way as games began September 21st at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy in Las Vegas, NV. This marks the 2nd full year of Friday Night Hoops for boys and girls grades 6,7,8. The Fall league consists of 8 middle school teams (4 boys & 4 girls teams). Liron Fanan Named the Director of G League Player Development for the Cavaliers

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced the addition of Liron Fanan (LEE-ron Fan-an) as Director of G League Player Development. In her role, Liron will work to enrich Canton Charge players off the court through both League and team initiatives. In addition to her Charge responsibilities, Fanan will also utilize her extensive international basketball background to assist the Cavs scouting department and General Manager Koby Altman.
