PORTLAND, Ore. (March 20, 2015) – adidas today announced its 2015 adidas Uprising summer basketball schedule. Developed to showcase the next generation of basketball stars, the calendar includes the adidas Gauntlet tournament series, All-American camp, Summer Championship and adidas Nations.

The adidas Gauntlet series continues this season with top 15U, 16U and 17U teams from across the country competing for the title of adidas Uprising Gauntlet champion. Teams compete in two qualify events in Dallas, April 10-12 and Indianapolis, April 24-26 to earn a spot in the Gauntlet Finale in Atlanta, July 8-11. The Gauntlet finale will host the top eight ranked teams from the Gauntlet qualifiers, as well as eight play-in teams. Teams will be seeded for bracket play based on their Gauntlet win-loss record culminating with a championship game July 10.

The adidas Uprising All-American Camp is the place to find the best upcoming basketball talent as 100 of the top high school prospects in the country converge on New York July 14-17 for three days of coaching sessions from elite trainers, former college and professional coaches and NBA athletes.

Finally, the summer basketball season closes out with the adidas Uprising Summer Championship July 22-26 in Las Vegas. This tournament is open to all 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U teams who want a shot at the the Uprising championship trophy.

adidas Nations will continue as the premier international grassroots program within adidas Uprising. adidas Nations brings together the top high school basketball players from the U.S., Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and Latin America to train and compete.  The adidas Nations Global final event will be held August 1-4 in Los Angeles.

Former adidas Grassroots participants include NBA athletes Dwight Howard, Derrick Rose, Eric Gordon, Joel Embiid, Dante Exum, and Serge Ibaka.
