PORTLAND, Ore. (Dec. 2, 2013) – Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts was named the NBA Western Conference Coach of the Month for November, it was announced today by the NBA.

In his second year at the helm, Stotts led Portland to a 13-3 start to win the award (NBA includes games played in October), including an 11-game winning streak from Nov. 8-25, and a seven-game road streak that ran from Nov. 1-23.

The Trail Blazers’ 13 wins in the month tied a franchise best, and the team’s four-game sweep of a road trip from Nov. 15-20 marked the first 4-0 trip since January of 2003.
