In 2026, HallPass Media helped execute the third annual Summer League Film Festival, bringing 27 films, filmmakers, athletes, entertainers, and industry leaders together across three days in Las Vegas. The festival continued to grow not only in its programming, but in its network of partners, venues, and talent involved.
Growing the Festival Ecosystem
Year three represented another step forward for SLFF, expanding the festival beyond its core programming at Strip View Pavilion and creating a broader footprint throughout Las Vegas.
HallPass Media worked across multiple partners and venues, including Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, Palms Casino Resort, and Brenden Theatres, to create a festival experience that extended well beyond the walls of NBA Summer League.
The multi-venue strategy allowed SLFF to host screenings, premieres, panels, hospitality experiences, and networking opportunities in distinct environments while maintaining one cohesive festival identity.

Throughout the 2026 festival, SLFF welcomed notable figures including Steve Kerr, Steve Hartman, Baron Davis, AJ Dybantsa, Brendan Haywood, Trevor Ariza, Glen “Big Baby” Davis, Young Thug, Mike Bibby, and Teresa Weatherspoon, among athletes, coaches, filmmakers, entertainers, and industry professionals.

One of the festival’s marquee moments was the Las Vegas premiere of The Most Hated Man in Gaming, the Ronnie 2K documentary executive produced by Kevin Garnett. The film offered a natural intersection of basketball, gaming, culture, and entertainment—exactly the type of storytelling SLFF was created to showcase.
The festival also featured the premiere of Last Shot at Brenden Theatres inside the Palms, adding a traditional theatrical premiere experience to the festival’s programming.
