Missin Curfew Participates in the First Ever Outdoor Alumni Classic in Aspen

The last Missin Curfew 2023 Fella Tour stop of the year took place in Aspen where hosts Scottie and Shane took part in the first annual Outdoor Alumni Classic in Carbondale, Colorado. The Fellas had the opportunity to lace their skates back up and hit the ice with Colorado Avalanche alumni and other NHL legends to play for a great cause and organization, Colorado Extreme.

Founded by Scottie and Shane’s good friend and president/founder Sheldon Wolitski, Colorado Extreme is a youth hockey program that aims to provide diversity and inclusion through youth hockey in the mid-Roaring Folk Valley of Colorado.

The two day sold out community fundraising event kicked off with a private charity auction. As an auction item, Scottie and Shane offered donors the opportunity to play a round of golf with them at an exclusive golf course along with a chance to attend an Anaheim Ducks game with NHL alumni. The following day, the Fellas joined other NHL alumni from the likes of Henrik Lundqvist, John-Michael Liles, Darren Helm, Kyle Quincey, Milan Hejduk, P.A. Parenteau and many others for an exhibition hockey game to celebrate the sport with the local community.

Missin Curfew was a big supporter of the Outdoor Alumni Classic and the Fellas enjoyed every minute of it. Outside of the event itself, Scottie Upshall had a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly a fighter jet with his good friend and former Top Gun fighter pilot Matthew “WHIZ” Buckley – who also supported the event through his “No Fallen Heroes” organization.

Big thanks to Sheldon and the Colorado Extreme organization for having the Fellas be a part of your amazing cause!
