Celebrating the Continued Success of SBC & VSL Alumni
As we reflect on another incredible year for NBA Summer League (VSL) and Sports Business Classroom (SBC), we are proud to celebrate the remarkable growth and ongoing accomplishments of our alumni network. What began as an immersive learning and development opportunity has become one of the most influential talent pipelines in the sports industry.
This past summer, we welcomed 150 VSL interns and 138 SBC students, each bringing commitment, curiosity, and passion to their roles. Their energy fuels the ecosystem we’ve built over the last two decades, one designed to prepare young professionals for real careers in basketball and beyond.
To date, more than 300 young professionals have secured impactful roles across offices, coaching staffs, agencies, leagues, performance departments, communications, operations, and creative teams worldwide. Their success speaks directly to their work ethic and drive, but also to the power of the SBC and VSL experience: hands-on education, meaningful mentorship, and access to one of the most connected networks in sports.
With alumni now contributing to organizations across the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NCAA, G League, professional teams overseas, and industry-leading agencies, the footprint of our programs continues to expand globally. Each year, we watch this community elevate the industry, bringing fresh perspectives, diverse talent, and a commitment to excellence rooted in their time with SBC & VSL.
We are honored to play a role in their journeys and inspired by the paths they continue to forge. As you explore some of the latest alumni placements below, we invite you to connect with this growing network of exceptional young professionals shaping the future of sports.
