Elite Baseball Announces 2011 National Letter of Intent Signings and College Commitments

NEWPORT BEACH, California, January 14, 2011 – Elite Baseball is proud to announce Elite Baseball Series alumni and Elite Connie Mack players who have signed national letters of intent or made school commitments for 2011.

To date over 50 players make up the stellar 2011 class of Elite Baseball alumni who will take their talents to the college diamond. Elite Baseball’s superior training programs, events, clinics and private instruction present a tremendous platform for player development and evaluation. The Elite Baseball Series, a premiere west coast evaluation event, provides exposure opportunities with college and professional scouts in a three day showcase, simulating a college series experience. Many of the players in the class of 2011 participated in the EBS and the commitments are a testament to the quality and caliber of the event and the services provided by Elite Baseball.

“What Elite Baseball is doing for underclassmen is insurmountable. They are setting the standard for events throughout the country,” said Dave Serrano, Head Coach Cal State Fullerton. Jason Smith, Southern California Supervisor for the Cleveland Indians says, “Elite Baseball provides clear, concise evaluation and coaching practices to build a development path from a young player to a legitimate prospect.”

“It’s phenomenal to know that over 50 former Elite Baseball Series alumni and Elite Connie Mack players will be playing baseball at the next level in 2011,” said Joe DeMarco, CEO of Elite Baseball. “Elite Baseball has created a formula that is designed to maximize each players understanding of the game through a progressive approach and to create a positive learning environment.
